It is a long, unhurried lunch served in the heart of the house, in the courtyard where sunlight lingers on natural stone, where conversations unfold slowly, and where the mountains remain close enough to hear their quiet. Inspired by the warmth of Sinai hospitality, this experience brings together home-cooked dishes, silence, and the gentle rhythm of gathering.
We created it for people who appreciate simplicity done well, for groups who want to share a single table, and for anyone longing to reconnect with something slower, calmer, and more human.
A Shared Experience
The Dar Katrine Sufra is served as one shared experience for the entire group, reflecting the spirit of sitting together on sacred land. Bookings are available for 2–10 guests, and the visit includes access to our outdoor seating areas and reception for three hours.
The best time to arrive is two to three hours before sunset, when the light softens, the garden glows, and the desert breeze carries the last warmth of the day. Children are welcome, with supervision left to parents. The house is safe, familiar, and made for families.
This is not a restaurant.
It is a table shaped by intention, a single moment of slowness shared with those you choose to bring with you.
Honoring the Land & Its Peace
Dar Katrine sits within a protected natural reserve. To preserve the atmosphere for everyone, we ask guests to:
- Keep all spaces clean, indoors and outdoors
- Preserve silence and respect the people of Saint Catherine
- No fire or heating setup without the Dar Katrine team
- Bedrooms are not included in the visit
- Pets cannot be accommodated
- No commercial photography or filming
- No smoking inside any part of Dar Katrine
- Awareness of natural pollens in the garden
These gentle boundaries help keep the atmosphere calm for you and for everyone who finds stillness here.

You'll sit around a wooden table placed in the soft gravel of the courtyard, surrounded by stone walls and the quiet beauty of the mountains. It's a space designed to make you stay a little longer: to take another sip of tea, to breathe a little deeper, to feel present.
We kept the experience minimal so that the land stays at the center.
